It did really well. The deer kept it ate down most of the winter. This spring I put 150 lbsp/acre of fertilizer on it.. This field (26 acres) was mixed with oats, wheat, rye, and ladino clover as well. I just recently cut it for hay. I have averaged just over 1.5 tons of dry hay per acre. I will be planting more this fall. I will say that it does well with heavy grazing and also in wet areas’ Chris McNeil.
