The Pastures for Pollinators mix is coming up well. I have a 1/8th-acre plot which was planted in early April (it came up will but is a touch weedy) and also a 6′ x 6′ plot in our forage demonstration garden planted in late April. The turnip and phacelia are dominating the larger plot at the moment, but I haven’t taken any actual species composition data yet. The phacelia is just starting to bloom but the rest of the species are still vegetative.’ Gordon Jones, Oregon State University.
